i bought this book second hand a couple years ago to read on my trip to peru. i wound up getting bogged down, and lending it out in exchange for some Neruda. the book was finally returned to me recently.
it has flashes of brilliance, but like the author, i am sometime bored on the trip and my attention wanders.
i like reading about trains while i ride BART on my commute.
will check in again when i finish.
